About Me
I'm Euan, a cybersecurity specialist from a small village in Scotland. I came to Japan in 2015 as an exchange student at Kobe University, fell in love with the city, and still live and work here today.
I am a cybersecurity consultant and sit on the CSIRT team at Kobe Digital Labo, an IT SME in the heart of the city. I'm also a Regional Activities Committee member representing Kansai at the Nippon CSIRT Association, and co-run a local cybersecurity study group, 'KobeSec'.
Outside of work, you'll usually find me with a book, at a board game table, up a mountain somewhere, or chipping away at my mediocre golf handicap.
I hope to blog and share more projects here going forward — feel free to reach out via any of the linked platforms.
